O en paraules de Jon Kabat-Zinn, \u201cmindfulness \u00e9s la consci\u00e8ncia que sorgeix quan parem esment volunt\u00e0riament i amb intenci\u00f3, al que ocorre en el moment present, i sense prejudicis ni expectatives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;ha comprovat en nombrosos estudis cient\u00edfics (\u00e9s molt \u00e0mplia la bibliografia existent i est\u00e0 a la disposici\u00f3 de qui la precisi), que aquesta manera de funcionament mental incideix en la potenciaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;atenci\u00f3 i la concentraci\u00f3, en la reducci\u00f3 de l&#8217;estr\u00e8s, i en la millora de la comunicaci\u00f3 interpersonal i de la salut.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;una banda, des del punt de vista general, el mindfulness afavoreix una:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Major claredat mental, derivada d&#8217;una atenci\u00f3 m\u00e9s imparcial, amb millor presa de decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Millor capacitat de connexi\u00f3 amb els altres, millorant la confian\u00e7a i l&#8217;empatia.<\/li>\n<li>Millor efic\u00e0cia i productivitat, resultat d&#8217;una major atenci\u00f3 i concentraci\u00f3.<\/li>\n<li>M\u00e9s creativitat, resultat d&#8217;un enfocament menys amena\u00e7ador davant els problemes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Des del punt de vista emocional i de la salut:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Millor gesti\u00f3 de les emocions, la qual cosa facilita el control dels comportaments desadaptats o addictius: p. ex. en trastorns de l&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3.<\/li>\n<li>Redueix els s\u00edmptomes m\u00e8dics associats a l&#8217;estr\u00e8s en un 47%<\/li>\n<li>Redueix el malestar psicol\u00f2gic.<\/li>\n<li>Posa fi a les \u201cruminacions\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Augmenta la consci\u00e8ncia sobre la capacitat per a influir positivament en la salut.<\/li>\n<li>Permet viure b\u00e9 amb el dolor cr\u00f2nic i la malaltia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>S&#8217;ha demostrat que l&#8217;entrenament en mindfulness:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00e9s m\u00e9s efica\u00e7 que altres intervencions psicol\u00f2giques (Lle\u00f3 i cols., 2013).<\/li>\n<li>\u2026i el benestar perdura. (Mart\u00edn A i Garc\u00eda de la Banda G, 2010).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En els \u00faltims anys s&#8217;ha estudiat la relaci\u00f3 entre la pr\u00e0ctica de la meditaci\u00f3 i els canvis d&#8217;activitat cerebral i de la morfologia del propi cervell (Simon V., 2007) (Vestergaard, 2009) (Luders i cols. 2011) (H\u00f6lzel i col., 2011) (Luders, 2012) (Luders, 2013) (Clausen i cols. 2014) (Fox i cols. 2014) (Kumar i cols. 2014) (Valent-Fang\u00f3s i cols. 2014) (Villemure i cols. 2015) etc\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Els resultats d&#8217;aquests estudis detecten majors volums de subst\u00e0ncia grisa en les persones que practiquen meditaci\u00f3,\u00a0 concretament en determinades \u00e0rees cerebrals (escor\u00e7a orbito frontal, t\u00e0lem dret, circumvoluci\u00f3 temporal inferior esquerra) i tamb\u00e9 van mostrar significativament majors volums de funcionament en l&#8217;hipocamp dret. Troballes que permeten entendre per qu\u00e8 hi ha un major control emocional en aquestes persones, i per qu\u00e8 augmenten les habilitats per a conrear emocions positives i participar en el comportament conscient que mostren els meditadors.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, suggereixen que aquestes modificacions en les estructures cerebrals apareixen ja despr\u00e9s d&#8217;un entrenament intensiu de tan sols dos mesos de durada, com el que ofereix el Programa MBSR.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep sep-none\"
